We all know it's important to see your favourite Punk Rock bands, so Cheshire decided to create a festival which will allow you to see every band you have ever wanted to see. Take a look at this poster and see if there are any bands that you would like to see;
Below are some descriptions of the bands playing on the first day;
Fall Out Boy
This is an American Rock band that formed in Wilmette, Illinois in 2001. The band members consist of Patrick Stump (Vocalist and Guitarist), Pete Wentz (Bassist), Joe Trohman (Guitarist) and Andy Hurley (Drummer). This group first formed when Wentz and Trohman decided to create a band with a Punk Rock style, Stump then joined soon after. When the band began to take off they urgently had to find a drummer, after many long and tiring auditions they finally found their drummer, Andy Hurley. In 2003 they released their first album 'Take This To Your Grave' which became very successful and the band began to be seen worldwide and not just in the United States. In 2009, Fall Out Boy broke up temporarily due to issues Wentz and Hurley were having, but in 2013 the band reformed and are still touring the world now. Since they first formed they have released six studio albums and two live albums.
All Time Low
There is also going to be another American Rock band, known as All Time Low, they formed in Towson, Maryland which is a suburb of Baltimore in 2003. This band consists of Alex Gaskarth (Lead Vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist), Jack Barakat (Lead Guitarist and Backing Vocalist), Zack Merrick (Bassist and Backing Vocalist) and Rian Dawson (Drummer). The band are touring constantly and are regularly playing at different festivals. All Time Low began as a High school band but they managed to release their first studio album in 2005 which was named 'The Party Scene'. Before their first album they released their first debut EP in 2004 which was called 'The Three Words To Remember In Dealing With The End' through their local label 'Emerald Moon'. Since they first formed they have released six studio albums and one live DVD.
Green Day
Again, there is going to be another American Rock band. Green Day formed in California in 1986. This band consists of Billie Joe Armstrong (Vocalist and Guitarist), Mike Dirnt (Bassist) and John Kiffmeyer (Drummer). In 1990 Kiffmeyer left the band and the replacement drummer was Tres Cool, after 12 years (2012) it was made official that Cool was officially part of the band. Green Day have released eleven studio albums and three live albums. Green Day have sold over 65 million albums worldwide including more than 23 million in the United States alone.
5 Seconds Of Summer
This is an Australian Punk Rock band also known as 5SOS that formed in Sydney in 2011. The band members consist of Luke Hemmings (Vocalist and Guitarist), Michael Clifford (Vocalist and Lead Guitarist), Calum Hood (Vocalist and Bassist) and Ashton Irwin (Vocalist and Drummer). The band first formed when they met in High school, Hemmings, Clifford and Hood went to the same High School and formed a band, they then needed a drummer so watched different drummers on YouTube and they then found Ashton Irwin. 5SOS released their first album in 2012 which was named 'Somewhere New'. Since the band formed they have released two studio albums and one live album. 5SOS are only the fourth Australian band to have a number one song in the UK charts.
New Found Glory
We will be having another American Punk Rock band, New Found Glory. They formed in Coral Springs, Florida in 1997. The band members consist of Jordan Pundik (Lead Vocalist), Chad Gilbert (Guitarist), Ian Grushka (Bassist), Cyrus Bolooki (Drums) and Steve Klein (Guitarist). In late 2013, Klein left the band because of personal reasons, but the band still carried on without him. Since they formed, New Found Glory have released eight studio albums and one live album. This band have been playing for quite some time and are an amazing act to see live, so you won't want to miss them.
McBusted
This is a British Pop Rock band that formed in 2013. The band consists of James Bourne (Vocalist and Guitarist), Matt Willis (Vocalist and Bassist), Danny Jones (Vocalist and Guitarist), Tom Fletcher (Vocalist and Guitarist), Dougie Poynter (Vocalist and Bassist) and Harry Judd (Drummer). This group has been created because two separate bands have come together, which are McFly and Busted and they have formed McBusted. One of the members that were in Busted 'Charlie Simpson' decided not to be part of this group as he waned to concentrate on his solo career and band. Busted formed in 2000 and McFly formed in 2003 which means they have been well known for quite a few years.
Blink 182
Blink 182 are an American Rock band that formed in Poway, a suburb of San Diego, California in 1992. This band consists of Mark Hoppus (Vocalist and Bassist), Tom DeLonge (Vocalist and Guitarist) and Travis Barker (Drummer). Blink 182 gained a lot of popularity through their highly energetic live shows which many people enjoyed to be at. The band were originally called 'Blink' until and Irish band also named Blink threatened legal action on them so they added '182' on the end. Blink 182 released their first studio album in 1994 which was called 'Buddha'. Since they first formed they have released six studio albums and one live album.
Good Charlotte
This is an American Rock band that formed in Waldford, Maryland in 1996. The band members consist of Joel Madden (Lead Vocalist), Benji Madden (Vocalist and Guitarist), Paul Thomas (Bassist), Billy Martin (Guitarist and Keyboardist) and Dean Butterworth (Drummer), Butterworth only joined the band in 2005. Since they have been together they have released five studio albums. This group is very well known for their song 'The Anthem' which has been played many times on the radio and has also been featured in many films.
Simple Plan
This is a Canadian Rock band that formed in Montreal, Quebec in 1999. The band consists of Pierre Bouvier (Lead Singer and Bassist), David Desrosiers (Bassist), Chuck Comeau (Drummer), Sebastien Lefebvre (Guitarist) and Jeff Stinco (Lead Guitarist). Simple Plan released their first studio album in 2002 which was called 'No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls'. Since the band have been together they have released four studio albums. Simple Plan have sung at many different festivals and have also been opening acts for many different ceremonies, in 2010 they performed at the Winter Olympics closing ceremony.
Sum 41
We will be having another Canadian Rock band, Sun 41. They formed in Ajax, Ontario, Canada in 1996. The band members consist of Deryck Whibley (Lead Vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist), Dave Baksh (Guitarist), Tom Thacker (Guitarist), Cone McCaslin (Bassist) and Frank Zummo (Drummer). In 1999, Sum 41 signed an international record deal with Island Records and in 2001 they released their first studio album which was called 'All Killer, No Filler'. Since they formed they have released five studio albums and three live albums. Sum 41 have played many arenas around the world and now they are coming to Creamfields Festival, if you are a fan you should definitely consider coming.
